What are Charles Baudelaire's subjects?

I'm thinking about reading Baudelaire, but I'm not sure what kind of novels he wrote, what subjects and themes he used, what is his style like ect. If you have read something by him, please give me some details about your impressions.

Baudelaire was a French poet and quite the controversial one at that. His poetry was quite racy for the day, but his work survives and he is considered one of the great French poets of his day. Look at any poetry section of the bookstore for his work.
