Go the library and see if they have this book: The Big Book of New American Humor" Edited by William Novak and Moshe Waldoks. If they don't have it perhaps they can get it from another library on an interlibrary loan. You may have to pay postage on it, but it's a really good book if you're looking for monologues. They're not obscene or dirty...they're good clean, funny monos for actors of all ages. Good luck
