Different country, different way to spell. America tends to like to be different from the rest of the World when it comes to spelling for some reason.

It means the same thing. Just depends on the area - different spellings. Kinda like Canada spells color - colour, etc.

Gray is the American "english" way of spelling
and Grey is the Birtish "english" way of spelling.
That is the only difference i can think of...
its just a spelling difference:
like color and colour...just two different forms of english.

They are the same... used interchangeably. I myself prefer "gray." Grey may be used more in the U.K.

In my country (NZ), grey is a colour and Gray is a surname

Gray is the American way of spelling of the colour that you get when you mix black and white and Grey is the British way of spelling the same thing... it's the same with flavor and flavour, color and colour... you get the idea.
