How can I tell if a song in my iTunes has DRM protection on it?

The best way to tell is while you're in Itunes, highlight the song, RIGHT click on it (if you're on a mac, control + click) and select "get info". If you see that you're file is a "Protected AAC Audio File", then it's protected.
If you need to remove it, you may want to ask another question of the group.

If it is iTunes DRM, the filename will have a ".m4p" suffix.

if u bought it has protection if u ddnt buy it then its not protected
