How can you tell if your toe is broken?

I hurt my toe and it has been killing me for 2 days

which toe is it. If it is the big toe then you wont be able to walk on it at all if it was broken. Even if its a different toe you may find it difficult to walk on your feet without the achey pain. If it is bruised and swollen it may also be broken. My suggestion to you would be to take a popsicle stick- break it to fit your toe, wrap it with medical tape, and try not to walk on it too much. rest and elevate. If it is the big toe, then you need to see a Doctor. Because those are the breaks that you need to watch out for. If it still bothers you in a week then go see a doctor, but it should feel better soon. good luck

The doc can tell you but all they do is tape it up, nothing else. Swelling, bruising. It will hurt for weeks if it's broken.

if it is black and blue i broke my toe and my father said it was broken but not all the time mean the if it's black and blue all the time but if u put ur finger right were it hurts o n ur toe and feel a space and get bend it and the other one can't.

It hurts alot, black and blue, swollen - - x-ray will show it, but all that can be done is to tape it rather snugly for a week or two.

Had 2 of them, that's about it.

if you can't walk on it and if it's swollen then my advice to you is to see your doctor asap
