Printer prints with several lines of horizontal white dots?

My printer prints with several lines of horizontal white dots. I tried high gloss quality paper but the problem remains. What could be the reason?

run trouble shoot on your printer and use the clean my printer in the menu box there.

    Hi.

The problem might be with your print head nozzles. Lines across a printed image are a tell-tale sign of clogged print head nozzles. This usually happens when the printer has not been used for some time. You may try cleaning the nozzles using the procedure given here: http://printerinkcartridgesblog.printcountry.com/

Check your printer cartridge and make sure it has enough ink. Also check your printer options and make sure all your settings are correct. It might be possible you have your print setting set to print on some sort of special paper such as transperancies.
