Why do Muslims agree man is flesh and spirit and still one man?

But if you apply the same principle to
God they say he is more than one god.

Genesis shows man is created in God's image..God said let US create man in OUR image.
God then formed man from the dust (flesh)
God the breathed in life (spirit)
Then man became a living soul.
man is clearly in the image of God having more than one part but is still one man...why then do Muslims say the trinity is more than one God?

Punter, The Gospel is that Jesus was resurrected his flesh was raised from death he overcame death...Muslims agree christ raised lazrus from the dead...Did Lazerus eat? Of course he did Jesus did not raise a ghost but a flesh and blood man.

By any mans necessary...If Spirit is half and flesh is half then surely the spirit must die with the flesh?...Do Muslims believe in an afterlife? wen a dog dies it perishs and is no more...When a man dies his spirit does continue...We are made in the image of God and do not depend on this flesh for our life. spirit is not half and flesh is half...We are a copmplete spirit and a complete flesh and each is capable of living seperate..proof..an animal is flesh only and it lives so long as it's flesh live...so flesh alone is capable of sustaining life..When a man dies his spirit lives on...we are more than one part anf God is also more than one part...chrsit represents God's flesh and was in submission to the spirit which is the Father...they are ONE God.

Byanymeans..We also have a body and spirit and these make up a living soul each has attributes the other does not..We are one man. Wehn God gave his first scriptures to Moses he explained this completely...Let US create man in OUR image...He then explained man's creation in the image of God.

I always found it amusing that people could believe in God, believe He created everything, but also believe that He is UNABLE to be in different forms and still be God, the one and only.

According to the very first scripures man is created in the image of the trinity, Allah did not understand how he created man therfore could not be the God who created us.

Now read Luke 24:36-41: "And as they (disciples) thus spoke, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. And he said unto them, Why are you troubled? And why so thoughts arise in your hearts? Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me end see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. And when he had thus spoken, he showed them his hands and his feet. And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat? And they gave him a piece of boiled fish and of a honeycomb. And he took it, and did eat before them." Jesus eating of food was to prove to the disciples that he was not a spirit, but rather, he was still alive and not dead.

Jesus being alive and not dead is further supported in his own prophecy (Matthew 12:40):
"For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." (Alive)
Did Jesus fulfill this miracle? Christians would say "yes," because Jesus died and rose three days later according to Luke 24:36 and Matthew 20:19, to name a few verses. However, in line with the miracle of Jonah and according to the Bible, Jesus only spent one day and two nights in the sepulchre, and not three days and three nights as he prophesied.
Are 3 days and 3 nights equal to 2 days and 1 night?
Jesus was put in the sepulchre just before sunset on Friday (Good Friday) and was found missing before sunrise on Sunday (Easter). If we were to s-t-r-e-t-c-h the time frame a bit, one may say that Jesus spent three days in the earth, but there is no way and I repeat, no way, that Jesus spent three nights in the earth. We must not forget that the Gospels are explicit in telling us that it was "before sunrise" on Sunday morning that Mary Magdalene went to the tomb of Jesus and found it empty.
Consequently, there are some inconsistencies as to whether Jesus fulfilled his own prophecy. Whether he was actually crucified, or if the day (Good Friday) of his alleged Crucifixion is wrong. Another significant point to mention is that Jonah was alive in the belly of the whale. The Christians says, Jesus was dead in the belly of the earth/tomb, and this contradicts Jesus’ own prophecy. Jesus said (Luke 11:30): "As Jonah was...so shall the Son of man be."
If Jonah was alive, so was Jesus.

That's their way of denying that Christianity is monotheistic. If they would allow themselves to believe that God can do things that defies our concept of space, time, and logic...then they will be at least "believers"

I think the problem is that the trinity is not understood by many Muslims.....it is not three entities...that can like go and have coffee together.

Imagine thinking in this way -

Allah as the creator = father
the word of Allah on earth, made tangible, the Quran, the prophecy = son
The soul, the light of Allah (An-Nur), The origin of peace As-Salam, The Inspirer (Al-Mu'min) = holy spirit


If you look at it that way, you will better understand how Christians view the trinity

There is a huge difference the spirit is half and the flesh is half. But the trinitarian god is supposed to be three seperate entities.

Maths as a positive science teaches us one unit does not equal 1+1+1 in other words one cannot be equal to three because one is a third of three. In the same way one cannot equal three, three cannot equal one.

Many Christians say that all three gods are the same yet their not able to see that their God/s holds different ranks, 1st The Father 2nd Jesus 3rd Holy Ghost. Some would consider it heresy for me to say “in the name of the holy ghost, the son and the father.”

We are also told each person of the trinity has some particular attributes which are not proper for the other two, e.g. Father is Creator and Destroyer , Son is saviour and redeemer, the holy ghost is the life giver.
