Italians, Spaniards, Latino-Americans = hot-tempered, high sex drives, possibly "prone to crime" or violence...

Jews= money-grubbing, excessively influential in the world for some reason (not true), "conspiring", conniving

Greeks = can't trust them, "slick", business cheats, restaurant owners

Muslims (not an ethnicity / race, but , still...) = possibly "disloyal" (esp.nowadays in America), possibly radicals or terrorists, can't be trusted not to be plotting to do terrorism in the name of God...

French = arrogant, judgemental, rude (esp.Parisians)

Germans = prone to militarism, nationalism, and war, anti-Semitic (well, at least amongst we Jews that's a stereotype we have of them, I admit), easily led by a strong dictatorial type leader

Scandinavians = kind and politically progressive, open-minded, tall , naturally blonde, and blue-eyed, and pale

British = pubs, football (well, that's most of Europe really, so...), "fish and chips", sleazy tabloids, sometimes prudish, sometimes a bit cocky or arrogant (leftover from when they were the former British Empire)....

Irish = drunks, like to bar fight when drunk, cops (sometimes crooked, lol...), or firemen

Russians, Polish, eastern Slavs = sorry but I just associate all them with Communism, and, I hate to say this, but, things like "Eurotrash" at clubs nowadays, B.O. , always on cellphones talking Russian (or Polish or whatever), and Borat, lol.... sorry.....

Chinese = smart, and physically small....but probably trained in the martial arts, lol....

Japanese = all business, good cars

Americans (though many ethnicities make up this country) = generally dumb or ill-informed of affairs in other nations, arrogant, lately (due to "W") militaristic and aggressive, sometimes looked at as "cowboys" (at least the southern-types), also overweight a lot of times, too much McD's, etc.

Dutch= chocolates, wooden shoes, windmills, pot , lol...

Koreans = Kias to the south, Commies to the north, lol...

    I'm an aussie and living overseas people think of us as friendly, funny and big beer drinkers (true for the most part). Unfortunately we have the racist stereotype too.

    As for the Danish, I don't know much about them at all. I'll go find out and get back to you.

    I have to admit I have never really heard a stereotype about Danes!
    These are my stereotypes.
    I am Canadian so maybe we can add that one!
    Canadians=Peaceful
    Americans = Ignorant about the world around them and money driven
    Germans = Generically masterful
    Japanese = over sensitive and very sex oriented culture
    Swedish = Peacemakers
    French = Not racist. Were kinds to many black actors from states as well as very good to the Indians when they came to North America
    Indian = Naturalists whom would of not killed the earth like we are doing
    China = Good Herbalists, will eat anything
    Italian = Passionate
    Finland = Alcoholics
    England = very split socially lots of impoverished
    Ireland = Merry singing people that have suffered greatly but always over come

    Wow. As an American with a German/Irish/English heritage I'm not sure what to say to all that. Perhaps it's because I'm a hugely fat, stupid Hooligan who happens to be red-headed and termpermental -- especially when I drink beer.

    Thank God I'm not Danish!!!

    Honestly in California where I live, there is not much thought given to Danish people, I guess cause we don't have a lot of Danish immigrants compared to all of our Latin-American and Asian-American immigrants. But some stereotypes of Danish are that they are: blonde, friendly, and good at baking! (Danish rolls?)
    Some other stereotypes of things I've heard, both positive and negative:

    Ethiopians: eccentric, skinny, tribal people
    Americans: like you said, fat and stupid, but also materialistic and greedy
    Germans: big-boned, blonde, nazis, good-looking, "Aryan", thick accents
    Japanese: smart, eccentric, into anime and other childlike interests, sexy, nerdy, sushi-eaters, the women have bad tempers
    Asian Pacific Islanders (e.g. Hawaians, Somoans): huge, jolly, eat a lot, cannibals
    English: snobby, bad teeth, pale, skinny, high fashion, political
    French: what I've heard is way off what you said---stylish, sensual, private, polite, artistic, do not shave, pretty women, good-looking men (hey, Johnny Depp married one!)
    Mexicans: dirty, poor, trying to escape their country, good food, family-oriented, sneaky
    Brazilians: festive, always dancing and celebrating, erotic, good dancers, exotic and beautiful women, high rate of transexualism and transgender (cross-dressing), tan, light eyes, skinny---but actually Brazilians like Americans are a very mixed nation with all kinds of races and ethnicites. So there is not a certain "Brazilian look".
    South Africans: mixed with a lot of black and white people living there, corrupt government, liberal, open-minded, a part of Africa that is "eurocentrized"
    Kneyan: fried plantains (bananas), tribal, educated, intellectual, political

    I think Rosie O'Donnel may be contributing to this stereotype of Americans.
