A group of seals is called harem. A group of seals can also be referred as a herd, pod, or rookery of seals.

Most commonly they are called a pod, but they can also be called a heard. When describing seals or walruses grouped together in a certain area in large numbers with they are called a colony. Baby seals are called pups or whelps, males are called bulls, and females are called cows.
