My toddler has Eczema what can I do to make it go away?

My 2 year old has Eczema bad and the doctors are no help. What can I give him to ease his pain. I have tried almost anything. I live in Houston if any of you know of a good specialist.

I use emu oil and soap . It's not pricy and seems to clear it up.
I use Just Plain farm fresh soap

What's nice about emu oil is you can mix it into whatever lotion you are using . It's good for sunburn and lots of other things. The soap isn't too pricy and a bar should last a single person a month.
Stay away from hot water use luke warm and a soft washcloth no scrubbing or harsh products .
I might consider having a scratch test done by an allergist or seeing a dermatologist

Or any kinda of lotion helps it helps alot apply it over and over it diappears quick!! good luck

try bag balm, its over the counter and stinks bad. special note on using anything, try it on a small spot first to make sure there are no reactions. it worked for my step son. DO NOT INGEST!

The best lotion for skin conditions is Eucerin. There is a lotion and a creme. The creme is thicker and a little more effective. They also have an itch spray. Good luck.

Eczema is a terrible form of dermatitis, sometimes hydro-cortisone works, sometimes the condition is bad enough steroids are prescribed. No over the counter cream is going to solve true eczema though. Have you gone to just primary care physicians or have you seen a dermatologist yet? Some forms of eczema are so stubborn that nothing seems to help them. good luck.
