Does Clomid work for people with no eggs????

Hi, just wondering if anybody knew if you could use or try clomid if you have never had/dont have any eggs? i think i need to go and talk to a fertility expert really but just wondering if anyone had any advice?

No i am only 22, i hadnt started my periods by the time i was 17 so when to the doctor and had to get lots of tests done i now have to take HRT and they said i wouldnt be able to have children as my ovaries had never produced eggs.

Very interesting. How do you know you don't have any eggs? Are you in menopause, have you been diagonsed or are you just guessing.

Clomid would NOT work for people with no eggs as chlomid stimulates the ovaries to produce more follicles on average just to speed things up for some couples. If the follicles do not contain eggs (or egg quality is poor), than ovulation will not take place. For example, a woman who is in menopause (used up all the eggs in her ovaries) will not benefit with clomid.

However, you still have the option of having an IVF with a donor egg. The sperm can come from your partner.
