UTI Bactrim dosage question?

Question

My doctor prescibed bactrim for a uti...but the dosage is 1/2 tablet three times a day and he only prescibed 7 tablets...seems like a very low dosage..will it clear it up or will it return soon?

Start taking cranberry pills. If you get them frequently (like I do) you'll really appreciate how much they help! I take 3 cranberry pills a day to keep myself out of the ER. But maintain your urinary tract or you'll wish you did. I've urinated blood for hours from not taking care of mine. And it's an insanely painful thing!!! Best of luck.

each dr is different as to dosages/as to will it clear up???/it should/ but they may also return
