I have a severe toothache can anyone help.?

i am going to the dentist tomarrow but need to kill the pain tonight. i dont have any cloves or clove oil

forgot about walgreens

fin wallgreens was closed they are supposed to be 24/7 so i stopped by the er and they gave me vicodin and a scrip for 20 7.5/750 vicodin

one mention on tylenol 1st. dont take too much, if u overdose on tylenol you're looking at organ failure (for real)

ok to take a bunch of motrin though...like up to 1000mg.

is there a pimple on your gumline? if so u can pop it with like a toothpick and it will drain releiving some of the pressure.

start an antibiotic now if possible too like amoxicillin. you might be able to call the dentist oncall. almost every clinic has an after hours number. say it's an emergency, swelling extreme pain etc. they can call in scripts to a 24 hr pharmacy like wallgreens (get the number of a close one before you call). if they dont have a 24 hr number and u have insurance go to ER and they will start u one something to tide u over...but most ers dont have dentists 9i dont know why they should!!!!)...oh, i've had like 20 absessed teeth this is why I know this....good luck!!

melt a asprin on the tooth that hurts..

Cold packs, NSAIDs, if it's abcessed try applying pressure to that side.

No joke when i say this....

And this is why god made tenylol. I know ti seems odd, but it works. Also, a Indian remedy that works is if u put some sugar (powdered) over the tooth. Then, you lick it clean with your tough and drink soda, and let it just sit there, over your tooth that hurts.

Also, if u press the tooth the way it hurts for a while, it feels like the pain reduces when you relse your pressure.

clean your teeth very well, avoid all subtances other than water, and if need be go to walgreens, or the nearest store and purchase Ambisol, or some other numbing substance in the toothpaste isle.

Exposed roots and cavities are sensitive to heat, cold, and sugars.

Activated charcoal is available at many drug stores and natural health food stores.

Mix two teaspoons of activated charcoal powder with just enough water to make a paste. Apply it to a piece of gauze and place the gauze on the tooth. Bite down.

drink 2 oz. straight vodka....wait 20 minutes......if in same pain.....drink another 1 oz..........wait 10 minutes......if still in pain........pray morning comes soon...

Putting a pain killer like Tylenol or aspirin directly on the tooth/gums usually helps. I also heard (and have tried) putting a tea bag in your mouth on the area of the tooth helps reduce abscess.

Other than that, when I last had a tooth ache, I rotated Aleve in the morning and Tylenol PM at night. It worked wonders, plus the Tylenol PM helped me sleep.

Oh, one more, JIN!!.... it will knock you out though...
