U can just download the driver and install it..........

Go to Lexmark,s website, select support and downloads (or simialr) and download the drivers for your version of windows.
install it, plugging in printer ONLY when prompted by the software

Even if you have the disc, it is good to check for driver updates at the manufacturer's site.

Download the driver for the printer at the following website address: http://www.downloaddelivery.com/en/cpddr…

Then connect the printer to your computer and it should automatically run the "Add new hardware " wizard. If it installs without prompting for the location to install the right driver, then use device manager to update the driver to the one you downloaded.
