Which med. is stonger? Lortab or Percocet? Thanks.

I have taking lortab for years and I am thinking of asking the doctor to start me on percocet. So percocet is stronger.

EDIT: The answer 2 answers below mine is wrong. It's not that percocet is 7.5 to 15mg stronger than lortab. Percocet is a combination of oxycodone and acetaminophen, lortab and vicodin are a combination of hydrocodone and acetaminophen. Oxycodone is stronger than hydrocodone, therefore percocet is stronger than lortab.

Percocet Is the stronger of the two. it's very good for severe pain.

percocet is stronger than lortab. Percocet generally has between 7.5 to 15 mg more strength than lortab. depending upon the prescription dose of course. Both contain acetaminophen, which is the generic name for tylenol.

well I know for sure that percocet is stronger because I take percoet for my back..I also took lortab but that did not help at all.
