My satellite meter says I have a good signal but the box says signal strength 0 please help!!!?

My satellite meter says I have a good signal but the box inside just says searching for satellite signal 0 Someone please help!

You are probably pointed to the wrong satellite.

what kind of signal meter do you have is it a bir dog ?, how many receivers do u have ? is the line from your receiver directly connected to the satelitte dish? are u using a multi switch? cuz theres a lot of stuff that can cuz your receiver not to received or detect the signal

Hi Bamafan,

Make sure your LNB is getting power and the lead in cable is properly connected.

If you are getting a strong signal it doesn't matter which satellite you are on your receiver should see it.
