Hearing aid needed will medicare pay?

I have medicare part A B and D will they pay for a much needed hearing aid?

Medicare will pay for one hearing aid if your hearing is poor enough. It is difficult to meet their requirements and they may change in different states. Schedule an appointment with an audiologist and voice your concerns regarding costs. If the audiologist accepts Medicare for exam coverage, they will be able to help you with the hearing aid coverage as well.

No they do not pay for hearing aids. My dad just got new ones and had to pay out of his pocket.

They do not pay for hearing aids, though they will pay for hearing exams. The link below shows the rules for California.

Also, they do pay for surgery for bone anchored hearing aids and cochlear implants. Check with your audiologist to see if your hearing loss is at the level that qualifies you for either of those.

Finally, some Medicare supplemental insurances will cover hearing aids
