Am i hotlinking?

would you people please go to this address http://melindagilman.blogspot.com/ and look at the second post and tell me if i am hotlinking??? 2 people have told me i wasnt and from my understanding of hotlinking im not...

From what I understand, hotlinking is when you link to a picture or music from someone elses server to play or show on your own page.

I usually store my own pictures ,music, and videos on my own server space , or I will use a site that offers free hosting (like photobucket, youtube, etc.) so I am not using someone elses bandwidth for stuff on my own webpage.

From what you described, you were just giving people a web address and suggesting they visit her page.

I would think she would be flattered someone was giving her free advertisement and kudos for having a good site.

How odd.
