Is it bad to live right next to a Electric Transistor UtilityPole?

I got into escrow on a hot condo - with great city views - top corner unit - brand new construction, perfect. Then the city erected a big electric pole right in front of the window! I'm so bummed and I hate it but love the place. Should I still buy?

I would contingent the buy with the city moving the pole! You can always rescind the contingency, if you still want the condo with the spoiled view! The electric vibes won't hurt you.

I can't answer for you. I'd be bummed too. Worry more about the larger transmission lines, the ones on steel poles and much higher up, not the smaller urban delivery lines.

First, I think you meant transformer. A transistor is a very small electronic device found in older small handheld radios. There may be a few older transformers that still have PCB'S in them and they were dangerous but they have been outlawed for quite a few years now. You could call the electric company and complain but good luck on that one. I would recommend climbing up there and painting it a pleasant color but you would probably get electrocuted and you're aires would most likely sue me.

If you're worried about safety...stay put. The transformer on the pole is not dangerous.
If the view is that important......sue the bastards!
