Having difficulties finding a pet carrier that my cat can be comfy in but still fit under airplane seats. HEL?

I have a couple of carriers that they are comfortable in, but they are too big to fit under the seat...have two cats...need two carriers...one cat is 12 lbs and the other is close to 15 lbs...does anybody know of a carrier that would be big enough for each cat but still small enough to fit under the seat?

This is what I have now...trying to find something similar to this (love the quality and sturdiness of this)

This one's airline approved, and intended for pets up to 16 pounds: http://www.petco.com/Shop/petco_Product_…
I've never had a cat in one, but my puppy was quite comfortable in her Sherpa bag for a long plane ride. I think you might be able to find them cheaper elsewhere, and there are other versions that might be less expensive as well (I think this particular one has all kinds of unnecessary bells and whistles).

Here's something similar that's a little less expensive, and intended specifically for cats (if that makes a difference):

You might also want to look through Amazon.com's list of cat carriers:

Keep in mind that you're alone allowed to carry one animal per person, and you'll need to verify that the airline you're flying with allows pets, and make a reservation for your cats at least 24 hours before your flight.

Asker's Comment:
Thank you! I've flown with one cat before...but she was almost 1/3 the size of one of these cats...so I didn't have to go to extremes trying to find something...a lot of these look really good so I'll start with that and hopefully find something :-)
