Who is your favorite poet and give a short reason why?

I really like Rober Bly--because he writes with brilliant images, Mary Oliver becuase of the way she speaks directly to the soul, Arthur Rimbaud because of the symolism he uses.

Rainier Maria Rilke, because his use imagery is ethereal while not losing it's clarity. Whether he's commenting on a caged animal, or on the rapture of the spirit, his language woos and holds the mind.

No favorite poet, but my favorite author is Stephen King without question! He's probably a very sick man, but he's also a genious. I'm reading Insomnia right now and I can't put it own. I just don't know how he does it!

Edna St. Vincent Millay because of a line she used in her poem the Goose Girl. "if ever I said in grief or pride I've tired of honest things I've lied." She did a lot of awesome poems.

My favourite is Kenn Nesbitt. He writes funny and rhyming poems. They make me laugh.
