Do conservationists focus on one type of sea turtle or many?

It seems like it would be better to focus on one, but maybe the types are similar enough to each other to focus on many. I don't know.

They actually focus on a number of different types of marine turtles. Fortunately, the factors which are making them extinct or threatened are often very similar from one situation to the next so attempts to help one group often help other groups in the same area.
