Starbucks is NOT a franchise. :)
Any stores in the Philippines are company owned
I dont see any stores for sbux in the Philippines when i go to thier international page.
However visit thier website and look through thier job postings

I used to work for Starbucks Philippines. All you have to do is visit any store and ask for application forms from the baristas. Starbucks is owned by Rustan's Corporation. Most of the baristas are college graduates and some are part-time college students.

Philippines is different. Regular Filipinos need college degrees to work for American based corporations. Unlike the U.S. where any bum can get a job doing a barista job making minimum wage.

Knowing that Starbucks is a franchise, someone from Philippines bought that store and is in charge of managing that shop.

I would inquire about applying to that specific cafe and speaking to the manager pertaining specific qualifications in getting hired.

Enter any starbucks branch and inquire. Show your interest in coffee, not just the job, by buying a mug of coffee. Then sit down and enjoy the brew. For all you know, the manager may be watching you and assessing whether you'd make a good barista. Love the coffee, not just the job.
