What happens when you mix clonopin and mucinex?

My pharmacist said that I cannot take mucinex with my medication. I am on clonopin for panic disorder.

He never said what would happen. What would have happened if I took the mucinex?

I am not aware of any reaction between Klonopin (yep, it's spelled with a 'K') and Mucinex.

call the pharmicist for an explanation. next time, have the question answered before you leave the pharmacy.

it may not have anything to do with the klonopin. the mucinex has guafinesin as its main ingredient and tends to make people anxious. so it could very will make your panic disorder worse.
