How far will the Bulls go in the playoffs?

Well... If they're really really lucky, I mean REAL lucky, they could go all the way to the finals. It's not as if there's a clear cut winner of the East yet.
Detroit is just not playing hard right now and Miami is a team that the Bulls could definitely beat if they're lucky. Cleveland is able doable.
But a championship is way over their heads. They're not at that level yet.

The East isn't very strong, so I would say they could go all the way to the championship game and lose to the Spurs.

I chose them to go as far as the Eastern Conference Finals against the Pistons. But I say that's the farthest they will get, losing to the Pistons or the Heat. I can't see them making the Finals.

Round 2 is the safest bet, based on the very real possibility of finishing 5th and having to face the 4 in the first round, then the 1 in the second.

I'm going out on a limb and saying that they'll leap past Cleveland for the #2 seed in the East (which would knock Cleveland down to 5th) and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals, where they'll fall to Detroit in 6.

If a trade with Memphis for Pau were to have been completed, I would definitely predict the Bulls to represent the East in the NBA Finals, but that didn't happen, so Chicago won't get that far.

Until the 2nd round. If the playoffs were to start now, they would play Washington without Caron Butler which helps them. But beyond that, Detroit will be harder to beat.

they would go as far as the eastern conference finals...but i think that's about it....teams like detroit and cleveland are better than them...if they have gotten pau gasol then they might be able to go to the finals...the bulls lack a offensive low-post presence...their offensive weapons are mostly perimeter guys like gordon, hinrich, luol deng and nocioni...i know they are great guys but in the playoffs, you need a big man who could consistently score in the post...just a solid power forward and they would be on their way to the finals for years to come...
