Heating and cooling?

i wana get into the hvac feild. can't i just take a test? do u need to know lots of math? what do u need to possess? where can i get trained for cheap?

If you mean a technician then a trade or technical school. If you want to be doing this as a profession, e.g. designing heating and ventilation systems, then you will need a degree in mechanical engineering and yes for that you will need lots of math.
