I think you really need to start doing some research. Get their books. Look at the index for feminist issues and go for it.

    I don't know any of the people you're talking about, but as for race, sexuality, and culture, you might want to discuss the rights of Islamic women and the reform of rape and abortion laws in the Middle East. Ms. magazine has some valuable resources.

    there is a real feeling that "mainstream" feminism is about white, middle class, heterosexual women -- and does not take any other cultures, races, sexualities, etc into account

    These three authors look at issues from different perspective
    -- as African American, as women of colour and lesbian outlooks..........

    A good question that would like them all would be:
    How does mainstream feminist theory fail to represent "others"

    support it with quotes from these three.......

    if you can find the book in the source box -- read it -- lots of really good articles from women who do not fit the "white, middle class, heterosexual" feminist postion

    Source(s):

    This Bridge Called My Back: Writings by Radical Women of Color (Paperback)
    by Cherrie Moraga (Author), Gloria Anzaldúa (Author)
