How many 800mg ibuprofen pills can I take in a 24 hour period?

The max amount is 2400 mg ,or 3 800 Mg pills However that is large amount. There problem that could lead to a life threatening reaction. The only reason do only do so under a doctor care( if doctor tell's you), however, if planing on doing it without check with doctor watch for these sign and if get call doctor or heathcare provider

usually every 6 till 8 hours.

Be sure you can take them first.

Don't recommend Ibuprofen if you have an ulcer or bleeding condition or taking blood thinners like coumadin, aspirin, lovenox,etc.

Don't recommend Ibuprofen if you have kidney problems.

Don't recommend Ibuprofen if you are drinking or driving.

Just speak with your Doctor or Pharmacist prior to taking Ibuprofen... it can avoid a lot of problems in the future.

Dear friend, the maximum amount of Ibuprofen you are allowed to take in 24 hours is 2400 mg that is 3 tablets. But take care because it sometimes may hurt your stomach. The best safe pain-killer is Acetaminophen (Paracetamol or Panadol) which you can have up to twelve 325 mg tablets a day without any serious side effects.
