I just bought one of the potted orchids at meijer?

I just bought one of the potted orchids at meijer? Are there any specific care instructions for it. The card that came with it states to keep the potting material moist at all times and it says that a medium light should be saufficient. I bought it for my girlfriend and its really pretty so I would like to take as good of care it as I can. Thanks!

They need a high humidity environment. Yes, they need to be kept moist, but indirect watering is best, occasionaly mistings, and put the pots on a tray filled will peebles in water to keep the humidity up around the plant.

Read up on them - they can be tricky.

My house is too cold and dry in winter for them - so I don't even try.
