If some leaves on a plant turn brown, should you pluck them to save the greener leaves?

There's a plant at my house with almost all the leaves turning brown for some reason, with some of the green leaves having brown spots on them (and some green leaves getting brown at the base). What should I do? Should I pluck the bad ones?

Sure pluck away, if they are yellow it usually means too much water, brown is to little water or nutrients, get a good plant food and check the soil for mold, it may be killing your plant.

Go ahead & pull them off, they're just going to fall off anyway. Sounds like your plant's lacking something. Water? Sun? Maybe it needs to be repotted.

Yes so that the water goes into the good leaves. You do need to pluck the brown
ones regularly.

Pluck the brown ones off. Sounds like not enough water, or to much sun. Take care of that plant!!

brown spots could be bugs, to much or to little water, to much or to little sunlight. I suggest you check at this other website. Tell them what kind of plant it is.

You say almost all the leaves are turning brown so you might just have to cut it down to the dirt and see if it'll come back. Keep watering the stump and a lot of plants will send up new growth - but not all.
