Can I share a DVR between two TVs?

I want to find a DVR that will record video in one location, but let me pick from multiple TVs on which to play it back. Does such a thing exist?

yes, there are multiple room dvr;s available.. where one dvr will record, and any other compatible cable box in your home can access the recordings on that dvr, cablevision in my area does not offer this service, but I wired my home to allow me to watch the programming from the dvr in my living room in my bedroom also...

how i did this was the tv in the living room uses the component inputs, so I took the standard coax output from the dvr and ran a cable wire to the bedroom and connected it to the tv in there, now anything on the cablebox in the living room is also viewed in the bedroom (you can add an a/b switch if you want to connect another cable box, so you can watch 2 diffrent shows at the same time in the diffrent rooms) the only thing left to do was to add a remote control extender, I got this one http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.… and I have full control over the dvr in my living room from the comfort of my bedroom
