Urgently need info re definitive extermination of leafcutter ants.?

You can get rid of ants by using pest control.

    Its amazing how fast leafcutters can defoliate a tree. Leaf cutting ants have the sophisticated habit of fungus gardening by removing leaves and buds from weeds, grasses, plum and peach trees, blackberry bushes and many other fruit, nut and ornamental plants as well as several cereal and forage crops - bummer!

    You might want to try a product called Eco-EXEMPT or spread wetable sulfer to the surface and water it in.
