Has Wikipedia revolutionized the Internet as we know it?

I just find this site, along with the entire Wikimedia project to be one of the most valuble tools ever to reach the world wide web. It provides up to date, accurate information on almost any subject matter in a format that is concise, yet detailed.

It is good for finding information on a lot of subjects in a short period of time. Some criticize Wikipedia over accuracy. For the most part the articles are accurate and wikipedia has put more fact-checking systems in place recently.
