What are some great food gifts to give people for Christmas?

Homemade or purchased, it doesn't really matter. If homemade, please provide me a recipe(s) for what you're suggesting. What are your favorite food gifts? Please submit some ideas. Thank you in advance as I greatly appreciate all the input I can receive. :-)

Here's a baker's dozen ideas:
1. Christmas cookies - purchased or homemade 2. Tins of gourmet popcorn 3. Cheese ball (find an easy recipe) and gourmet crackers 4. Individual packets of hot chocolate, small packages of flavored coffees, or teas, in a big Christmas mug
5. A fruit basket of perfect apples, oranges, red pears - wrapped in cellophane and tied with a big red bow 7. Box of chocolates
8. Tin or decorative jar of hard candies or individually wrapped toffees, etc. 9. Tiny jars of gourment jams and jellies 10. Cans of nuts 11. A package of muffin mix, along with a muffin tin, a wooden spoon, tea towel and pot holder in a gift basket 12. A homemade coffee cake or pumpkin pie 13. Breads from a mix, baked in a foil loaf pan (regular sized or mini) wrapped in saran wrap and topped with a bow. Add a small ornament for an extra little gift.

I found a great recipe on recipezaar.com that I have made, ate and others have tried and loved. I am giving small pans of these out to some of my customers with directions to cook on the Christmas card. They are called "Christmas Morning Cinnamon Toast". They have cream cheese filling in them and are absolutely "YUMMY"! The only down-side is they take a little effort to make, but you make about 40+ at one time. Good Luck!

My favorite to receive is homemade candy, because I never ever make it.

I don't like tea breads because I make them and they are easy. ha ha

Home-made cream pies are another great gift! Or a variety of cookies, which I don't usually take the time to make either.

I always liked the sausages and cheeses with some good seasoned breads. A nice jar of zesty mustard is also a yummy addition. Kinda falls back to Old European tradition, because by the time winter was underway these fods were usually the best preserved. Thanks...now I'm hungry

Every year I make fudge and cookies, and maybe a few other goodies such as popcorn balls, hard candy or spiced cocktail nuts. I usually spend an outrageous amount of time decorating roll-out cookies. During the year I have a few "guinea pigs" who test new recipes recipes for me , since I give cookie and candy trays out to about 25-30 people, not to mention several hospital departments and nursing homes.
Since it's late in the season, you may want to do something simple, like chow mein cookies ( which I love but won't make for myself) or rum balls ( several good recipes out there).
