Runny nose/Pregnancy...?

Question

I had unprotected sex last Friday. About two days after I had slight cramping, and then it went away. Tues. I just felt really sick all day, unlike myself. Today I am having very thick, white, sticky discharge, and runny nose/headache. I've heard that some women experience "cold like symptoms" when they are pregnant. Then again, would it be too early?? Tomorrow will be day 7 since sex. I know its too early to test, but could these symptoms be because I'm pregnant, or is it simply too early and I'm just going crazy. Any advice would be great? I'M DYING TO KNOW!!!

You might have a yeast infection and as far as the runny nose etc it might be either an alergy or a head cold. Just stay cool and dont be jumping to conclustions. Dont worry till you really need to have something to worry about. But? why did you have unprotected SEX? You must be young. You should know better than to have unprotected sex. No in my opin.. you arent PREG . Just keep a close out on when your next period is suppose to be... If it doesnt happen then take a preg. test. I hope for your sake that you arent. If you are as young as I think I pray that you arent and if you arent LOOK either get on the pill or use condoms. Safer than sorry. You might of felt guilty and your body was trying to tell you something as in the cramping. Might of been a virus. Good luck to you and tell us here what is going on with you.

Thanks for the answer. After much thinking and worrying, I think I'm okay....I went to the doctor today, and they did a urine test and it was neg., but she said it was too early to tell since its only been a week. Hopefully I'm fine. No more worrying! O, and btw, I'm 20 years old.

You may or may not pregnant, but you are just scared of it now. wait for another week or so and then go for a test. You have the right to abort it if you don't need this baby, the earlier will be more safe too.
Now take this issue out of your brain and relax.

Girl, take yourself down to the free clinic first thing tomorrow. Get your peace of mind and for god's sake...no matter who it is and how much you like/trust them.. no more unprotected sex.

Runny nose is a very common symptom. White discharge is too, if its not itchy, or green then it could be the discharge associated with pregnancy. Your mucus membranes go into overdrive(hence runny nose and being "wet" down there) so they can soften,lubricate and prepare for the birth. However it is very, very rare to know so soon that you are pregnant.

I knew just 7 days after I became pregnant(my doctor told me I wasn't for another month) so like I said...the symptoms sound very much like pregnancy and its not likely but you could be feeling them already! You can get a blood test from your Dr but they still may not be able to tell for another couple of weeks. Good luck!
