I'm 23 and I still have problems with acne. I thought this should have stopped by now.

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.

For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html

Go to health food store; buy Cod Liver Oil. The vitamin A will help your skin clear up.

Well, acne can give anyone problems, no matter what your age is. You should try using a face cleanser of some sort. I know that the Clearsil works really well. If that doesn't work for you, you need to go and see you dermatologist and maybe get on some sort of medication. Maybe tetracycloine or some sort of other drug. Becareful though, it may cause depression with certain patients.

    Hello K,

I am in my 30's and also am battling with adult acne. I have tried every product in the store, and have gone to a doctor for medications as well. If you are female as I am, you suffer a bit worse for you body is always in flux with its hormones at one time or another.

You should consider going to a Dermatologist, they can on most occasions isolate your trigger for Acne. Downfall is most acne medication has great restrictions on them.

I will share with you a website that I found, has a homemade recipe for removing blackheads, which works for me 100% for removal of existing black heads thus slowing down my breakouts.

The main cause for acne is your diet. Dairy products, sugar, and grain is what causes it. Dairy is the biggest cause. Creams for your face are just a bunch of crap. New studies prove that diet is what causes acne. Here is a link for more information. http://www.dietaryacnecure.com/
Eliminate these three things from your diet for a week, and you will notice results.
