Folgers christmas commercial from the 80's?

Hi. The first sighting of this commercial feels like the first official sign of the holiday season.

I don't have a link but have been wondering what year it first aired and who the actors were for years. I couldn't take the curiosity any longer last year and finally wrote to Folgers to find out more about the commercial. Here's what Folgers wrote back to me...

We're glad you enjoy our Folgers Peter's Homecoming commercial and we appreciate your taking the time to let us know! The commercial began airing in 1985 until about 1998. We brought it back in 2004 due to popular demand.

The actors in the ad are as follows:
Greg Wrangler (Peter)
Colleen Hughes (older sister)
Kenneth Corey (father)
Susan Honey (younger sister)
Kate Weiman (mother)

I had a crush on a boy when I was in 8th grade who wore a cream cable knit sweater like Peter wears, and I loved that commercial because it looked like him. This was back in 1984- so you can see how long that commerical has been airing!

I'm sorry I couldn't locate a link for you- but hopefully someone else can help us out and I can see my long-lost "8th grade crush" again!

I'm not sure if this commercial is included, but I found a link where you can purchase a DVD with 2 hours worth of Christmas commercials from the 70's and 80's for $9.99. Maybe its on there. You might could email them and ask. Possibly even get them to overnight it to you.
