Does the supplement 'Candex' work for candida?

Have you or anyone you know tried Candex? Did it work for you? I have systemic candida (not vaginal yeast infection) and am thinking about trying it. Any personal experience shared would be appreciated.

I have tried it, and without the strict diet that the other two answers recommend it won't work. While on the diet you might also take garlic supplements, as that is supposed to boost your immune system and a weakened immune system is one reason for systemic candida. Also, you can buy acidophilus pills, but be sure to buy the refrigerated kind at health food stores and get them home to your refrigerator quickly. Acidophilus dies when it isn't cold, so the unrefrigerated kind aren't going to help at all.

The BEST thing for candida, is to STOP eating grains, breads, cereals, potoatoes and pasta - these all encourage fungal growth, and more scarily, cancer. A good way to kick start this diet is to use magnesium oxide, to detox the body, and then start on the veges, fruit, and minute amounts of lean meat. What you have to remember is your body system likes to function at an alkine level, NOT ACIDIC, which is typical of people with candida. Meats and Dairy, cause acidic body types.

    GOODLUCK!

Systemic Candida is confirmed by a stool sample showing the presence of parasites, systemic yeast, and imbalanced bacterial flora. Systemic yeast (Candida albicans) if a fungal organism that is present in everyone's intestinal tract. It is kept under control by your immune system and beneficial intestinal bacteria. The balance is upset when these bacteria are destroyed by antibiotics, stress, illness, or when we develop environmental or food sensitivities. Once the balance is upset, Candida can invade and colonize our body tissues. It commonly appears as a vaginal yeast infection or thrush. But, it can also spread inside the body and become systemic.

The basic treatment for systemic candida is a yeast free diet. This is a huge change in your lifestyle. The simplest process I would recommend first is to do a detox and colonix to rid your intestines of any unwanted parasites and to rebalance the beneficial bacteria. I used to get severe hives for years and once I did this process I have not had one single outbreak. The conventional doctors were never able to help me with my hives and in 1 month I was completely cured!

Go to www.dr.natura.com and review their website. They have an excellent product to do a detox and colonix. It is very gentle and easy to follow. Read through the information and check out the photos. They have a great customer service department if you have any questions and a great money back guarantee. Even if you don't buy their product go to their site and read the info. I would try the all natural approach especially since systemic candida can remain with you for a very long time. Diet change is good but a detox and colonix would give your body a good head start and possibly resolve your problem. You just need to rebalance your intestines. Good Luck!

I just did a web search on Candex - to answer your question about it. It does look like a good product but you do have to take alot and for a long period of time. They also recommend that you do a cleanse and take their Living Flora. I don't think the Candex alone would solve your problem. Dr. Nautra has both the detox and colonix program and I swear they work! It would also be easier to buy everything together as a group instead of wondering which products you might need. Hope this helps!
