Where do i sell my apples?

i was wondering i have about 1,000 apples and i was wondering how can i sell them to a grocery store?what do i need to have to sell them to a store?

I sell satsumas and Louisiana Sweet Oranges, in season. I have sold to big chain groceries, small stores, etc:
I have found the very best way is to sell to those individuals with road side stands in my area.
They come an carefully pick my fruit and the money we settle on is slightly higher than what the stores want to pay!

just ask any grocery if he will buy them,, he can set them up in a seperate place with a sign saying they are home frown etc,, if there are any rules to be followed he will tell you,,, also don't expect too much,, he may give you only 15 cents per apple and charge a dollar each!!!!!

probably some kind of usda certificate saying they r ok to sell. But i would think the best way to find out is to go ask a couple of store managers. i'm thinking a smaller store that is family owned would b a better bet that a big supermarket. good luck
