Titanium, hardness is not really a property though, it can withstand the most force exerted onto it.

there is a metallic glass that is the hardest metal known to man. at this point in time. It is basically a super heated, magnetic, carbon steal that is quickly cooled and it forms a glass. That is still metallic.
