I am in central time zone, but have a phone interview today in mountain time zone. Is that two hours ahead?

Two hours behind. It gets more complicated the farther west you go. When I was in the NAVY I'd call from Africa and get my mother out of bed a day late. 24 hr. time change.

Mountain Time Zone is one hour behind the Central Time Zone. For example, 4 pm MST (Mountain Standard Time) would be 5 pm CST (Central Standard Time.)

I live in Colorado and my folks live in WI. It is a one hour difference. WI is one hour ahead of Colorado
