is it true that if you cut your hair it grows faster or is it nonsence?

If you want hair to grow faster, you have to take supplements that work on your body chemistry to support hair's growth and strength at its genesis.....once it has grown out, it is just dead keratin
Try GNC, they make a supplement called "Nourishair" in formulas for men and women..they are HUGE pills and you have to take 2 daily. There is also a "Hair skin and nails" formula from Andrew Lessman that you can google, that has great ingredients and is easier to swallow, made by ProCaps labs. You can also take large doses of Biotin, sometimes called Vitamin H, take no less than 2500 micrograms daily to support healthy hair growth. It may take 6 to 8 weeks to see results.

it's non sense your hair grows from your scalp not the end of the hair so how could cutting it help. hair grows approximately one eighth of an inch a month a little faster in summer and a little slower in winter those other answers are old wives tales the hair hanging out of your head is dead protein the only living part of the hair is in the scalp

Nope, the hair grows from the scalp. If yr healthy on the inside it will show on the outside.

Hair will grow 1/2 inch per month in the summer it tends to grow a little faster, keeping your hair trimmed every six week's or so will keep it healthy and get rid of your split ends.
