Would a drug urine test show high levels of cocaine if you were taking percocet & flexeril?

I was tested positive for cocaine, which I did,but not enough to make my levels that high, especially after 3 days. The test was for any drugs, I imagine. But the cocaine level was something like 1700, which doesn't seem right. That is why I need to know if something else could cause this high level. I also ate 2 poppy seed bagels that morning. I know that shows positive for opium, but they only said cocaine

None of the items you listed would have caused you to test positive for the illegal one except for the illegal one. The only possible excuse you might get away with is some sort of tooth numbing agent sold over the counter.

Present them with everything you have a prescription for and tell them about the poppy seeds, but that isn't the problem.

You can't count on past experience or rumor to pass a drug test. The best way to pass a drug test is to avoid illegal drugs.

The drug test shows for the ingredients like amphetamines and benzodiazapeines. Cocaine and percocet are both amphetamines. That's why the number is so high. I am surprised the flexeril didn't show up as a benzo.

which I did...come on dude, get some clean air and smell the coffee. It's not the food, it's the sniffing and snorting.

just be honest with them next time you ever get a drug test and let them know every pill you are on, because if you don't, medications can show up as a drug even if you don't do drugs....in your case you do, so i believe it was the combo of the drug you did and one of the prescriptions you are taking.....also tell them about what you ate especially if it had poppy seeds in it! Whenever you eat poppy seeds muffins or whatever, save you reciept so you have the proof!

The only reason you are positive for cocaine is because you used cocaine!!! Flexeril does not show up in any way because the don't test for it. Percocet shows up as an opiate related drug because thats what it is. Poppy seed affect drug tests but only slightly. I f your cocaine level is high----I guess it's your fault. Stop making excuses.
