What is the difference between ceramic and vitirified tile ? which is a better option ?

I have rough faced ceramic floor tile. i find the cleaning very difficult. was planning on shifting to vitrified

You could get a smoother surface ceramic tile. The virtified tile are porcelain and extremely durable, however. The smoother a tile becomes the more likely it is to be slippery when wet.
