What's the cheapest way to make a driveway look good?

Question

I have a house with a driveway that looks like it's 500 years old and has been subjected to a volcano eruption and a couple of earthquakes. I really wonder what I could do to make it look good and park two cars on without devastating my savings. Any ideas, anyone?

Buy a 5 gallon pail of sealer and spread with a broom.

Loews and Home Depot sell all kinds of cleaners for driveways. We used a bunch of these then just gave up and painted the driveway with an epoxy. It looks great. And didn't cost all that much

try having it graded, with a grader, then get some pea gravel, spread it evenly, then add/spread larger gravel. make sure that you have it packed down. that's what I did to my drive. I hired someone, cost me around $500. that's about the cheapest. you can do it yourself, but its a lot of work.

The cheapest thing to do is sweep it up just a bit, or try to make it a theme for your house somehow.

Buy some paint to spice it up. Draw something cute. Add some red lines around the cracks to look like lava. You'll have th most creative driveway in the neighborhood!

If you have kids, have them chalk draw on it. It will wash away when it rains, but it will look good temporarily.

Hmmm, I really don't know. Gettting it repaved would be pricey, but you could just go with gravel. Dig up the sides and spread topsoil, then plant some low-growing shrubs, plunk in a few solar lights and spread pretty wood chips over top of the soil. It looks lovely, especially if you use an undulating pattern on the outer edges. Not sure about the ashpalt itself though...

CONCRETE ANY CRACKED AREAS OF THE DRIVE-WAY AND GIVE IT A FEW COATS OF PAVING PAINT. SHOULD BE A DO- IT YOURSELF JOB IF THE DRIVE ISNT TO BAD OR USE PHILS IDEA.

without spending money? close your eyes as you drive over it, and imagine it's brand new. sorry, you should know that there's no such thing on maintaining a home and have it come cheap.

There are all kinds of overly products on the market, don't use crap from Home Depot go to a real supply yard where they sell conrete finish tools, etc.
