Yes I have on my cell phone three times. everytime i call back it is busy or "I DIALED THE WRONG NUMBER" and it is getting frustating bc i dont know who they are??

I just did... it sounded like a recording when I picked up and it was in another language. The stranger thing was that my phone rang in a ring tone that is not my normal ring tone.

I've just received one. It was a recorded message in Spanish. I was only able to catch the words which would mean "press 1" in English. I didn't press 1 and hung up.

I got one at about 2 I missed the call but I was going to call back. I looked it up the number it is from L.A..

I've been getting them for several months. As someone else mentioned, it is Spanish and they do say to "press 1." The first part seems to be saying that I have won a free camera and to get it I need to press 1.

I would suggest not doing this. You may end up getting transfered to some foreign number that costs like $20 a call. And if your provider is as understanding as Cingular, YOU'RE SCREWED!

I just recieved a call from that number less than 5 minutes ago on my Cingular phone. I will be filing a complaint with them... and the FCC, if Cingular refuses to block these calls. In the past month, this is the 3rd call I've recieved. I urge everyone recieving a call from this number to do the same. The call is always in Mexican.. (not pure spanish). Someone needs to be put in jail or shut down and severely fined. And just a moment ago, I contacted Cingular... they refuse to help... telling me to contact the national Do Not Call Registry... Since when are our cellphone numbers available to the public? I'll be filing a complaint with the California State Public Utilities Commission and the FCC, and I would urge all of you to do the same!

Yes! Just got a call from that number at 1:54 pm pacific time--I have a cingular blackberry. Frustrating! Can someone post the link as to where to file a complaint? Thanks!

Yes! Thank God I found this posting! I received one this afternoon at 12:53 pm. It was in Spanish and I heard the words, "press one". I thought it was in Italian--and I actually pressed the #1. Hi said "thank you" in spanish and then hung up on me. When I tried to call back immediately it was a strange rapid busy signal. I'm worried about what I may have authorized by pressing #1!

Go to www.donotcall.gov to add your # to the National Do Not Call Registry and to file a complaint. I work for T-Mobile and I spoke with a customer today that was getting the same call. We don't have the capability to block calls from a specific #, so the next best thing is adding your # to the do not call list, or changing your phone #.
The National Do Not Call Registry gives you a choice about whether to receive telemarketing calls at home. Most telemarketers should not call your number once it has been on the registry for 31 days. If they do, you can file a complaint at this Website. You can register your home or mobile phone for free. Your registration will be effective for five years.

I am happy that i founf someone with whom I can share this. This company has been call me at my work, home & on my Cingular cel phone I get at least 3 calls a day. I called FCC todasy & they have informed that they can not take the complain as I don't have the company name. Could anyone help me with this firms name or let me know if anyone is planning to complain I would like to join them

Also been getting it on my cell sporatically for the past couple weeks. Called Cingular and they basically told me to go screw myself. Since the entire message is a recording, and in spanish, I can't find a company name to complain about. I guess we can wait for some unlucky SOB to actually recieve a charge for whatever they're scamming before we can go after anyone.

Yes, I have! More than once, and always in Spanish. I've called back and get rapid busy signal. Thanks to the T-Mobile employee who posted the donotcall URL. Didn't have a need to do it earlier and registering is easy!

Well look at this. I did the same- Googled, and found this page. What I heard about a few months ago is that The FCC is going to allow telemarketers to have cel numbers. I thought of this as idiotic, because the FCC knows that we are using our minutes(money). Well, so much for that. I guess that it only stops them from using automated dialers. But how they get the number is what I want to know. Random acts of dialing?
