there is no online or free search in your area ..and if you got the ticket from DPS you have to pay the fine before you can renew your licence--- if you got it in the county or city--chances are they will not give you that information unless you come in

Many (but not all) jurisdictions in Texas participate in the Texas DPS FTA program. You can check for outstanding offenses in that program by calling 1-800-686-0570 and entering your driver license number and date of birth. Call the court that your ticket was filed in and ask them the status.

Stop a local police officer and ask him to check his computer. They will not charge you for that service, I promise.

Don't know if you can web search. The county where you got the ticket is the best place to start. If you don't want to risk jail, don't show up at the courthouse. First, call the court clerk's office or the sheriff's department and ask if you have any warrants outstanding. If so, contact the prosecutor, offer to pay the fine in full right away. He'll probably allow you to do so because it's cheaper to take payment than put you in jail. Depending on the charge, the court might have entered an ex parte judgment. In that case, no warrant would issue, but you would most likely still have to pay the fine before they'll renew your license.

If you have the ticket number, you may pay outstanding traffic tickets issued by the city of Tyler at https://egov.cityoftyler.org/Click2GovCS/.

Alternatively, you may call the Tyler Municipal Court at 903.531.1266 between 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. You will also be able to determine if Tyler has an outstanding tricket/warrant on you by calling this number.

If you are just trying to figure out if there are ANY outstanding tickets/warrents on your license, there isn't (unfortunately) a free webwite. However, a records company, such as that found at http://www.criminal-records-search.com/warrants.htm might be acceptable to you.

    Good luck!
