Is it possible to paint or spray a fridge and if so w/ what kind of paint?

You don't remove any paint... there wasn't any there in the first place! Don't listen to those people who tell you to sand!!! But you should clean the surface of grease and/or food.The paint is spray epoxy paint for appliances. It comes in almond, bisque, black and white. Good luck!

EASILY DONE - just be sure to sand some of the old paint back and wipe it down with thinners to help the new paint stick. Any paint is OK as there is no real concern for weather damage or peeling fro heat. Automotive paint will give you the best finish for gloss. REMEMBER 2 thin coats are better than 1 thick coat - RUNS are a pain.

Use appliance epoxy paint, it will last longer than regular spray paint.

First you should sand off all the flaws, Then, sand every surface that's going to be sprayed with 220 grit paper. After sanded, clean with thinner, let dry and be sure all the dust has been removed. A vacuum will do the trick.

Use Rustoleum (sp) or any rust resistant spray paint and be sure all the really bad spots are primed with primer. Also, use masking tape to cover the door gaskets. If you get paint on them, the paint will someday split and crack and look un-professional.

Good luck and don't do this in the house. If possible get quick dry paint so any over spray won't stick on the surroundings.

First thing you do is remove the old paint. It comes of very easily with paint stripper. If there is any rust treat it with rust kill.

If you want a factory finish look I highly recommend you remove the fridge door/doors and gaskets/seals and have them sprayed by professionals .

The best option is to have the doors Powder Coated.
But you need to remove the gaskets/seals.

The better option is to have them sprayed by an auto spray painter.

If you plan on spraying the fridge yourself don't use normal white spray paint. It tends to go off in colour, it goes a cleamy colour after a while.

First choice spray paint is a Fridge Paint. Like the one in the site below.

But it all depends where you live as to what choice of brands you have to pick from.

But what ever you do PLEASE DON'T be talked into using normal white spray paint because when it's starts to go off, you wont be happy and you will have waisted all that hard work you put into it.

i just spray painted my refrigerater and washing machine, and i used appliance paint, it worked great, it looked like i bought it that color. trust me it works, appliance paint clean the fridge with water and soap, no sanding then spray paint with (appliance paint) ofcourse good luck....

yea it is possible my dad painted ours white it was black he just used regular spray cans but you might need 2 or 3 depends wat size the fridge is

There is an appliance paint that can be bought at places like Lowe's. I have seen refrigerators painted and they looked good. One was even an old avocado green appliance that my son sprayed off white with paint he bought in a can.
