Why does my belly button stink?

Question

I wash it real good with soap and a wash cloth. When I get out of the shower, I even make sure to use the towel to dry inside my belly button. BUT, why is it when I'm sitting on my sofa, watching Nascar, and I stick my finger in my belly button and smell it afterwards, it stinks real bad?
Please do act like this is gross, I bet if you poke your belly button right now and smell it, it wouldn't smell so good.......

The belly button is the dirtest spot on your body. When you get sweat on your face, top of your body it drains into your belly button. So it will never smell good. Just keep it clean. Whether you clean it all the time or not though, everyone sweats, all the time, so it will never stay clean, it will always have a certain smell to it. I wont smell mine. But my belly button is pierced and so It dont get infected i have to clean the ring, and my belly button three times a day, plus some spray bactine to keep it from hurting and help it to heal. Sounds like the infection has radiated from you teeth to your belly button. I would either boil it out with peroxide or try some strong antibiotics or better yet antifungals straight away.

After my shower I always clean my belly button with a qtip that's been dipped in peroxcide.

Mine smells fresh. I'd suggest pouring hydrogen peroxide in your belly button while you lay down and wait for about 5 minutes then wipe it up with a rag and use a q-tip for the rest inside.

cause you are fat. Lose some weight and wash it EVERYDAY and the stinch will go away. I use to have the same problem.
