I have a robins nest with babies in my yard. What can I sprinkle on the ground to keep cats away?

There's stuff you can spray on furniture that cats don't like the smell of and they won't go near, but I don't know if that's safe for your yard. Your best bet might be a temporary fence around the tree. Anything else might scare the birds away, too.

Moth balls or moth ball granules work second best to a twelve Gage to rid cats from ones property. I usually throw golf balls and or tennis balls at them. They belong on leashes. The Humane society will lend you cat trap cages for free, you just have to pick them up. Otherwise, a paintball gun would work also.

try "sprinkling" the cats with birdshot. a 410 gauge shotgun is a good way
